The graduation ceremony marks a special time in a floatie’s journey. Each student has made immense strides in their personal growth, global awareness, and confidence. The transition ‘to land’ can be both comforting and challenging, so we are proactively engaging in discussions about ‘life after Class Afloat’ with our floaties and families. For the past three years, our students, joined by locals from the area go head-to-head in this fierce and fiery competition, cooking meat 🥩 seafood 🍤 and veggie 🌶️ options! Think fast! There’s quicksand! One of our last ports while sailing on the @alexandervhumboldt2 was St.Malo, France 🇫🇷 where the famous Abbaye du Mont St-Michel resides. Our students and their guide set foot along the sandy seabed of this incredible site. Did you know, St.Malo has some of the highest tides in Europe?! 🌊

That’s right! Our crew is BACK in Bremerhaven - the 📍home sweet home of the @alexandervhumboldt2! After an incredible SEVEN MONTHS at 🌊 sea 🌊 our time on the ship has come to an end 😭 BUT with every ending, there is a new beginning, and our faculty and students are gearing up for a whole new adventure! 🚌 Since 2021, our travel itinerary started to incorporate more visits to mainland countries - this year, our students are looking forward to visiting Switzerland 🇨🇭, France 🇫🇷, and Spain 🇪🇸. We can’t wait to share this new adventure with you! 💙
